Crystal – Office Manager/Licensed Dental Assistant

Crystal is our office manager, in addition to being a dental assistant. She joined Snyder Orthodontics in 2000 after graduating from DCTC in Rosemount.

A Hastings native, Crystal still lives there with her husband and 2 daughters. Outside of the office, she likes to stay active … softball, volleyball, boating, fishing, gardening, canning … you’ll rarely find her standing still!

Crystal’s first concert? Garth Brooks when she was 9 years old!

What Crystal likes BEST about her job here … getting to know her patients!

 Emily – Licensed Dental Assistant

With us since 2004, Emily is also a dental assistant, originally from Willmar, MN. Her and her husband have 2 boys and a dog named, Chewie.

Emily loves staying active and being outside … especially if there’s a beach around! (are you noticing a beach theme here?!?) Emily likes all kinds of music, especially if it has a good beat and her favorite vacation ever? When she traveled to Maui … water, sand and fun!

What Emily likes BEST about her job here … being able to help a person change the way they feel about themselves!

Kelly – Licensed Dental Assistant

Kelly joined us in 2018 after graduating from DCTC in Rosemount. She is originally from Hastings and still lives there with her parents, siblings and their deaf dog named, Ruckus!

In her free time, Kelly loves hanging out with her boyfriend and his daughter. One day she hopes to visit Alaska, but until then, she’s got Mexico checked off her list!

The first concert Kelly ever went to? Florida Georgia Line at the Xcel Center with her mom and sister.

What Kelly likes BEST about her job here … that it’s fast paced and there’s always something new.

Megan – Licensed Dental Assistant

Megan joined our team in 2018 and comes to us from Inver Grove Heights. She received her dental assisting training at Century College.

In her free time, Megan enjoys being outdoors … hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking and running. She has her 3rd half marathon scheduled for the fall of 2018! Music is also a big part of Megan’s life; she calls herself a music junkie!

The wisest advice she’s ever been given? “Be who you are, not who the world wants you to be.”

What Megan likes BEST about her job here … watching a patient be confident in their smile again!

Morgan – Licensed Dental Assistant

Morgan joined our team in 2018. She is originally from Sauk Centre and did her schooling in Brainerd at Central Lakes Community College.

In her free time, Morgan likes hanging out with her friends, working out, watching scary movies, hiking and hunting! She’s also a traveler and has gone on some amazing vacations including Germany and Bonaire. Ask her about her adventures when you meet her!

What Morgan likes BEST about her job … Knowing that she is helping people with their smiles and making them that much more confident.

Tristan – Clinic Assistant

Tristan joined our office in the summer of 2016, while she went to school at DCTC for dental assisting. She is currently helping us out while she waits for her licensing to be completed. She is originally from Apple Valley, but lives in Lakeville now with her daughter, Kailynne … and Tristan’s mom is Tammy, our Business Manager!

When she isn’t working or studying, Tristan loves spending time with her daughter and doing anything where there’s lots of SUNSHINE! One day she’d like to take a vacation to her own little island surrounded by lots of blue water and filled with palm trees!

What Tristan likes BEST about her job here … all of her co-workers!

Tammy – Business Manager

An Albert Lea native, Tammy has been in the Snyder Orthodontic family for 16 years … currently as our business support person. She has 2 children and a beautiful little granddaughter.

Tammy’s favorite activities? The beach, fishing, the beach, fishing, the beach and fishing! Now that her and her hubby live half time here and half time in Florida, her favorite activities are now much easier to achieve!

The lesson Tammy’s mom taught her years ago, that she still lives by, is “Be prepared and have all of your ducks in a row!” You can see this advice come through in her work by how organized she keeps us!

What Tammy likes BEST about her job here … being part of such a great team!

Deb – Treatment Coordinator

Deb, our treatment coordinator, has been with Snyder Orthodontics for 19 years. Her and her husband … and their 4 children … are anxiously awaiting grandchild #3 this spring!

The best advice anyone ever gave Deb was, “Don’t rely on anyone but yourself to make you happy!” Excellent words of wisdom!

Something quirky about Deb? She’s lived in TEN different states throughout her life! We’re happy that she finally settled here because Deb’s knowledge of orthodontics is priceless and such a vital part of our team.

What Deb likes BEST about her job here … helping patients and parents really understand orthodontic treatment.

Kim – Scheduling Coordinator/Marketing

Joining our team in 2014, Kim is a Bismarck, ND native. Her and her hubby have 2 adult children, a grandson and a joint-custody dog named Lexie that they ‘share’ with a friend.

Kim’s first concert? Black Oak Arkansas and the Charlie Daniels Band at the Minot Civic Arena when she was 14!

On the top of Kim’s bucket list is to visit Tuscany someday for an ‘extended’ stay. She thinks she was an old Italian grandmother in a previous life!

What Kim likes BEST about her job here … getting to know orthodontics and all of the patients and families who come in here! Plus, at her previous job, ‘chatting’ was discouraged so she’s making up for lost time here!

Annette – Financial Coordinator

Annette joined our team in the spring of 2017. She is originally from Hastings, MN and still lives there with her husband and 3 children. Annette came to us with lots of dental experience and is also a licensed dental assistant … but is no longer practicing chairside.

When she’s not working, Annette likes to keep busy knitting, volunteering and watching her kids’ sports. In the summer, they love to take advantage of the weather and go camping. Her favorite vacation ever? A 10-day trip to Hawaii a few years go.

The ‘lesson from mom’ that Annette lives by … “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today!”

What Annette likes BEST about her job here … The diversity of her job … from helping people with financing and working with insurance companies on behalf of the patients, to developing relationships with the families.

Jeanne – Breath of Fresh Air!

We are very fortunate to have our very own “gardener” at Snyder Orthodontics! Jeanne, Dr. Snyder’s mother in law, keeps our flowerbeds and flower pots looking amazing all year long. And yes, it was her idea to put the chirping bird next to our front door … you either LOVED him or didn’t … but he was certainly a conversation starter this winter!

Jeanne loves to keep busy reading, gardening, decorating, getting together with friends and family or attending her grandkids’ events. Grass doesn’t grow under HER feet! And the ‘lesson from mom’ that she still lives by today? “Treat everyone respectfully and everyone the same.” A wise piece of advice we should all remember.

The first concert Jeanne ever attended? The Monkeys with her daughter, Mary Beth … Dr. Snyder’s wife. Be sure to ask her which Monkey she liked best the next time you see her!

What Jeanne likes BEST about her job … well, when she was an RN, it was that she was able to affect changes in her patients’ lives. What WE like best about her job HERE is that she still affects change by keeping our grounds looking great!

In Memory
Linda Calhoun (1967-2015)

Linda was part of our Snyder Orthodontic family and the ‘face’ of our office for 17 years. She lost her courageous battle with cancer in January of 2015 and will be missed by all who knew her.
